Front door locks from BASI are available in various sizes and designs to suit every door. The backset is 65 mm, the distance between the centre of the keyhole and centre of the handle hole is 92 mm and the square follower is 10 mm. The rounded or angular faceplate, available in 20 or 22 mm, allows the front door mortise lock to fit any door frame. We can supply the right lock for both right and left-opening doors as well as rebated doors. All BASI, front door mortise locks are easy to install thanks to the lock holes, which are standardised in accordance with DIN EN 12209 and TGL. This also applies to screw-on door fittings and rosette fittings. Together with a suitable profile cylinder, key and door fitting, the lock provides optimum protection for the entrance door.
