| Automatic door closure
These tools can ensure that doors automatically fall shut, preventing doors from slamming loudly or needing to be pulled shut. Door closers. When a door closes automatically, this not only increases the security of the building but also extends the service life of the door, as important components such as the door fitting and door leaf are protected. BASI supplies door closers in a variety of designs: with standard rod assembly, a slide rail, or with a spring mechanism – for lightweight doors, for heavy doors and also for fire and smoke protection doors. In addition, we also stock the associated locking units and installation plates.
| Electric strikes for security
With an electric strike, an entrance door can be opened remotely – whether in an apartment block, a doctor’s practice or a business establishment. They are therefore bothy highly practical and, most importantly, highly secure. Combined with an intercom and ideally a surveillance camera, they help to keep out any uninvited guests! The electric strike is installed within the strike plate. By means of an electrical current, which is activated by the pressing of a switch, the latch is momentarily released so that the door can be opened. Within the BASI range, you’ll find electric strikes with and without mechanical unlocking systems for both left and right-hinged doors. In addition, we also stock original “effeff” electric strikes and, of course, matching strike plates.
| Small tools with a big impact: door stoppers and door holders from BASI
The basic products within our door technology range can also make a big difference. Door stoppers, for example, ensure that doors are stopped in time and are not damaged by other objects when opened forcefully. In the BASI shop, you’ll find both wall and floor-mounted door stoppers as well as moveable door stoppers for use on the floor. With our door holders, meanwhile, the door is not only stopped but also held in the desired position. This is particularly helpful with doors subject to constant traffic.
