Security escutcheons protect profile cylinders and locks on entrance doors and room doors. BASI offers security escutcheons of all types: Narrow, oval security escutcheons for framed doors or round ones for wooden doors, for example. They all serve to prevent break-ins. Escutcheons with cylinder covers cover the profile cylinder so that only a slot is left free for unlocking the door and the cylinder cannot be pulled out.

Security escutcheons are often used on entrance doors in combination with corresponding security escutcheon fittings. Our security escutcheons are ideal for repairing these if necessary or for giving them a different look. It does not matter whether it is a handle set, an outside knob or a pull handle. The matching counterpart is attached to the inside of the front door. Of course, escutcheons can also be used on room doors in combination with door handles.
