| Padlocks are the all-rounders!
Padlocks can be used universally and are therefore true all-rounders! They come in different shapes and sizes. Depending on the design and size of the housing and shackle, the padlocks can be used for various purposes – indoors and outdoors. For outdoor use, the padlocks need to be weatherproof. Cabinets and lockers in gyms or schools can be secured with a padlock, and they can also be used for sheds, basements, containers, gates, tool boxes, vending machines and suitcases.
When it comes to securing something quickly, a padlock is unbeatable. They are handy and easy to use: simply open the padlock and then shut it, locking the desired object with the shackle. The right padlock exists for every security level: at BASI, you can choose from a range of models. Many are opened with a key; others have a combination lock. The shackles on our locks are usually made from hardened steel, which offers a high level of security. Padlocks are often used on doors and gates in combination with hinge hasps or door bolts.

In addition, BASI offers service padlocks: these are supplied without keys in a standard pin form and can be re-pinned by you. This way your customer will receive an individual padlock with keys cut by you.
Our profile cylinder padlock with short or long shackle can even be integrated into locking systems: standard 10/30 mm profile half cylinders can be used in these padlocks.
| Brass
Thanks to the robust material, the housings of our brass padlocks are rustproof and therefore ideally suited for outdoor use. Some models also feature a water stop, which prevents water from entering the padlock and makes it waterproof.
Our range of brass padlocks also includes padlocks with extra-long shackles as well as padlocks with adjustable and removable shackles – for maximum versatility!
Almost all of our brass padlocks are available keyed alike and keyed different.
| Aluminium
Padlocks made from aluminium are particularly light and easy to hold in your hand. We stock aluminium padlocks in a variety of colours. Some of them are suitable for engraving and perfect as love heart locks.
| Stainless Steel
Disc padlocks made of stainless steel complete our range of padlocks. They are well-known for being particularly robust. Their solid, rounded body means that there is very little contact surface for breaking tools. For extra protection from the weather, the model with a rubber outer and cylinder cover is especially weatherproof.
| Steel
Our steel padlocks with shackle protection offer maximum protection. The coated solid steel housing provides effective protection against attacks.
| Padlocks for profile half cylinders
If you want to use your own cylinder lock for a keyed alike system or if you want to integrate the padlock into an existing lock system, then you can use our padlocks for profile half cylinders. The advantage: no additional key is required!
| Padlocks with number combination
Whether round shackle padlock or standard version: We offer various padlocks with combination lock. These are particularly practical if several people need to have access.
